Dear UNLV Lifelong Learning Cybersecurity Students,

We are reaching out to provide you an update regarding the recent disruption to the IronCircle, now doing business as QuickStart, Cybersecurity program.

We are in touch with QuickStart and they report that they are actively working toward a solution. We are also exploring all options with our lawyers and will remain in communication with QuickStart as we work on your behalf to make this right for our students.

In the meantime, UNLV is actively developing our own transition plan designed to allow students to move forward in a newly developed cybersecurity program that is delivered and supported exclusively by UNLV. We hope to be able to provide a clear pathway for students to continue progressing toward your cybersecurity educational and career goals. We will keep you informed as we work on this and other possible options.

We are also pleased to offer current QuickStart (IronCircle) students immediate access to UNLV Career Services resources. Students will have the opportunity to meet with a career counselor to discuss cybersecurity career pathways, resume development, interview preparation, job search strategies, and professional development opportunities within the field To access these services, please email UNLV Career Services and Workforce Development at careerservices@unlv.edu and include “Cybersecurity” in the subject line. 

We understand that this situation has created uncertainty and frustration. Please know that UNLV is committed to supporting you throughout this process. Our team is working diligently to identify solutions and provide the resources necessary for your continued success.
